SELF-EFFICACY DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL ORANGTUA
TERHADAP
TINGKAT ASPIRASI KARIR SISWA

Abstrak: Career aspiration level of students are influenced by
personal factors which include self-efficacy and parental attitudes that
include social support from parents. This
research was designed for describing (1) self-efficacy, (2) social
supports from parents, (3) students career aspiration level, (4) the contribution
of self-efficacy toward the students career aspiration level and (5) the
contribution of social supports from parents toward the students career
aspiration level. This research use the quantitative approach to the
descriptive and correlational methods. The population of the research was the
students in class X and XI of SMAN Campursari registered in the second semester
of Academic Year 2013/2014 that consisted of 128 people. Of the
population, 85 students was taken as the sample. They were chosen based on the
criteria of living with biological father and mother. The result of the
research indicated that: (1) the level of career aspiration of student was in medium category, (2) achievement of self-efficacy was in
medium category, (3) achievement of
social supports from parents was in medium category, (4) self-efficacy
contributed 11.13% toward the students career aspiration level and (5) social
supports from parents contributed 6,4% toward the students career aspiration
level.
