HUBUNGAN
PENYESUAIAN DIRI, MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI
BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract: This
study aims to: (1) describe the adjustment of students, (2) describe the
students' motivation, (3) describe student achievement, (4) test whether there
is a relationship between the adjustment, learning motivation and academic
achievement of students, (5) the implications guidance and counseling services
in improving the adjustment, motivation to learn and student achievement. This study used a descriptive
correlational quantitative method. The study population was junior high school
students UNP Padang Development Laboratory classes VII and VIII of the school
year 2014/2015, amounting to 443 people, a sample of 210 people, which is
selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument
used was a questionnaire for adjustment and learning motivation questionnaire.
Analyzed with descriptive statistics, simple
regression
and multiple regression. The
research findings show that (1) the adjustment of students in general are in
the good category, (2) students' motivation in general are at a high category,
(3) student achievement are in the good category, (4) there is a relationship
with the achievement adjustment student learning, (5) there is a relationship
learning motivation and student achievement, (6) there is a
relationship adjustment, learning
motivation and student achievement, and (7)
implications of the research results serve as input to create a program of
guidance and counseling services that can improve adjustment, motivation to
learn and student achievement.
